Snowfall in Chicago !!! Since Friday a wave of cold air hit the area and temperuatures dropped below zero ! Yesterday we took the train from West Chicago to downtown Chicago and decided to visit the Field Museum to see Sue, the world's largest, most complete and best preserved T-Rex skeleton.
In the evening we had dinner at Mambo Grill, a nice little latin restaurant with decent prices and delicious food. They have a large selection of tequilas and play latin music, not life though. Just a few corners north is a the blues bar "Blue Chicago" where a very good blues band with a black vocalist played R&B and blues. A place definitively worth going ! Entrance price is $10, which gives you access to the second club just a few blocks further north.
Beer prices are around $4-5. Come early to get a seat...
